Last week we were playing along with Nurturestore's Winter Play Planner- one of the challenges was to make a nativity scene out of toilet rolls - we're not a religious family, but I was inspired to make some fun out of junk (you know we love to play with rubbish)
I made this snowflake/star wreath by cutting up a toilet roll tube and Vin helped stick the edges together - we painted and glittered it later (of course!)
We also made these egg carton Christmas trees inspired by these ones - I love how they turned out with the red glittery 'tinsel' (also they're light which is great considering I am posting all these goodies 120 miles to their recipients!)

Love these! Finally a use for my eggboxes.
ReplyDeleteWe use them as painting palettes or for printing patterns, sorting and counting practise and even to put the kids snacks in when we go on picnics.
ReplyDelete(I think this only proves that I might be a little cheap!)
Love your trees!
ReplyDeleteThe red edges are so cute!
Thanks for linking me :)
